Centola Joins FMC Agricultural Solutions as Segment Manager


PHILADELPHIA – December 16, 2013 – FMC Agricultural Solutions has promoted Flavio Centola to segment manager within the North American Crop marketing team. Centola will lead strategic direction for the soybean and sunflower segments as well as provide marketing support leadership to the Midwest regional sales team.

“Flavio has demonstrated an excellent ability to bring value to his work, which makes us excited to bring this expertise to the United States market,” said Aaron Locker, FMC Agricultural Solutions marketing director. “His experience and bottom-up understanding of the business are exactly the kind of knowledge our customers and sales team deserve from a segment manager.” 

Centola earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agronomy from the University of São Paulo and specialization in marketing from the School of Higher Education in Advertising and Marketing. An eight-year veteran of FMC, he previously served as a product manager for FMC Agricultural Solutions Brazil for four years. The other half of his tenure was spent working with the Brazilian technical service and sales teams, including managing key corn, soybean and cotton accounts in Northeast Brazil. His new position with FMC began on November 18.
