FMC Announces Cadet® Knockdown Sweepstakes

PHILADELPHIA – April 26, 2012 – FMC Corporation is excited to announce the Cadet® Knockdown Sweepstakes. Growers are invited to go online to and share their experiences with Cadet herbicide for a chance to win a $5,000 Best Buy® shopping spree.
 “Cadet herbicide offers broad-spectrum control of tough broadleaf weeds in corn and soybeans when tank mixed with glyphosate and many other postemergence herbicides,” said FMC Product Manager Bob Leifker. “We are asking growers to share their Cadet knockdown stories for a chance to win big.”
 Growers and retailers with experience using Cadet herbicide can enter the sweepstakes by clicking on the Cadet Knockdown Sweepstakes link on In addition to the $5,000 grand prize, 60 first place winners will receive a Moultrie® 1-65S Camera. An additional 25 people will receive a $250 Best Buy gift certificate as a second place prize. Entries must be submitted by May 31, 2012 in order to be eligible for prizes.
 “We encourage entrants to also watch videos submitted by growers that have used Cadet to learn what they liked about its performance,” Leifker said.
