A new predator is attacking weeds in California. It's called Shark® EW herbicide, now labeled on cotton, field corn, sweet corn, rice, wild rice, sorghum, wheat, barley and oats. It can be used for pre-plant burndown and for in-season uses for these crops. Shark features a unique new mode of action that can control some of your toughest broadleaf weed problems to protect your crop's yield and quality.

Shark EW on cotton
Shark EW is a powerful new herbicide that can be used on cotton as a pre-plant burndown, post-direct and layby treatment, or as a harvest aid. This versatile product helps reduce costs by increasing your tank-mix options. It also controls tough weeds like morningglories, nightshade, velvetleaf, common purslane, lambsquarters, field bindweed seedlings and suppresses established Field Bindweed. Shark EW performs consistently regardless of the weather conditions and has been classified as reduced-risk by the EPA. If you're looking for a new way to take a bite out of weeds in cotton, go with Shark EW.

Shark EW on corn
Whether you apply Shark EW alone or as a tank-mix partner, you get control of tough weeds in corn. When applied as directed, it controls problem weeds like common lambsquarters, morningglories, nightshade, pigweeds, purslane, velvetleaf and more. And for an even broader spectrum of weed control, Shark EW can be tank mixed with many other corn herbicides. It's just what you've been waiting for to attack weeds in corn.

Using Shark EW for pre-plant burndown
Shark EW is a dependable and fast-acting pre-plant burndown - broadleaf weeds are melted down in three to five days - and is rainfast in one hour. Applied alone, or with other herbicides, Shark EW takes out problem weeds that can get in the way during planting. It can be applied by ground or air, and does not require a permit, making it an easy choice for your operation.

Other uses for Shark EW
Shark EW can also take out many broadleaf weeds that many other herbicides leave behind in rice, wild rice, sorghum, wheat, barley and oats. It also provides powerful protection of yields.
