Aim® EC

Whether controlling broadleaves in corn, rice or sunflowers, desiccating potato vines or helping you harvest cleaner cotton – Aim® herbicide works hard and fast.

For Broadleaf Control:
You have weeds in your field. And you need tough weed control. Aim is a postemergence herbicide that is specially designed to act fast on tough broadleaf weeds like lambsquarters, morningglories, pigweeds, velvetleaf and waterhemp. It's also designed to help crops reach greater yield potential, something all growers will love.

For Defoliation/Harvest Aid:
Aim is the new standard in cotton defoliants. It provides unequalled cotton defoliation, juvenile regrowth removal, and weed desiccation. Aim works under hot and cold temperatures and is very economical and fast acting. Only Aim does it all with flexibility and unequalled performance and economics.

As a defoliant or harvest aid, Aim EC can be tank mixed with a boll opener such as ethephon for a total program that's quite competitively priced. Or it can be mixed with thidiazuron products for increased defoliation and inhibition of regrowth.

For Managed MaturityTM Applications:
FMC has developed a new cotton production practice called Managed Maturity, designed to help cotton growers get the most out of their crop. By applying a low rate of Aim at the optimum timing, growers can eliminate the rank top growth and unproductive fruit. This practice only affects the immature and unusable growth on the plant. The result is improved lint quality, more efficient defoliation, an earlier harvest and higher yields.

For Potato Desiccation:
Aim EC is easily to handle and its mode of action allows more time for nutrients to move into the tuber, and for the tuber to release from the vine. This helps to provide better and more uniform tuber size at harvest, reduces stem end browning, which can occur if vines are killed too quickly and improves the skin set which helps tubers resist scuffing damage at harvest and helps prevent disease and shrinking in storage.
