Frank Knight Joins FMC Corporation as Business Development Manager for the North America Agricultural Products Group

PHILADELPHIA, August 4, 2010 – FMC Corporation announces the appointment of Frank Knight as business development manager for the North America Agricultural Products Group.
 
In this position, Knight will be responsible for continuing to help expand the FMC North America Agricultural Products Group growth plan and portfolio.
 
“Frank comes to FMC with a wealth of experience and know-how regarding the crop protection business and business development.  In addition, he has a vast knowledge of the herbicide industry segment that will be a tremendous asset to FMC,” says Neil DeStefano, North America director of business and product development.  He will be an important part of our team as FMC continues to build our crop protection portfolio aggressively.”

Knight began his career in agriculture working as the service director for Virginia Polytechnic Institute and the Virginia State University extension service director of 4-H. He entered the crop protection industry with Syngenta, serving as the district manager in Wichita, Kan. He also served in herbicide brand and strategic account management.

Knight will be based out of the FMC Corporation headquarters in Philadelphia, Pa.
