Authority® First DF Herbicide

Give your soybeans a clean start this season.
Take down resistant weeds with Authority® First DF herbicide.

If glyphosate- and ALS-resistant weeds are threatening your soybeans, don’t just reach for the usual herbicide. Take down resistant weeds fast with new Authority® First DF herbicide from FMC. Authority First DF is a herbicide that provides soybean growers with a clean start and an invaluable resistance management tool to combat ALS- and glyphosate-resistant broadleaf weeds.

It provides an excellent residual weed control foundation for conventional and Roundup Ready® soybeans, so you get maximum value from glyphosate with minimum weed escapes. That translates into higher yields come harvest time.

Authority® First controls tough weeds:
Marestail
Waterhemp
Common lambsquarter
Nightshade
Morningglory
Pigweed
Common & giant ragweed

Features and benefits

  • Provides an effective and long-lasting residual broadleaf foundation for soybean weed control that helps growers get a clean start early in the season.
  • Two modes of action take control of ALS- and glyphosate-resistant weeds.
  • Offers maximum flexibility for growers because it is effective in no-till, minimum-till and conventional soybean growing operations.
Application guidelines
  • Do not use on coarse soils classified as sand, which have less than 1% organic matter.
  • Adverse crop response may occur on soils with low organic matter (<1.5%) and a pH of 7.8 or higher. Always follow all label instructions and use the lower rate in the range for these soils.
  • Apply appropriate burndown tank-mix partners for no-till soybeans.
  • Authority First DF can be mixed with liquid fertilizer.
